The mission of the Leipers Fork Community Association is to promote, sustain and develop commerce within the village and its closely surrounding area while upholding and preserving the integrity of its historical, rural and small town characteristics.

In 2009, the LFCA created a committee to plan an unprecedented event titled

Cork in the Fork. Ambitious in its scope, the evening benefit opened many new opportunities and ideas for the association's fundraising. As well, it introduced the concept of sparkling elegance mixed into the charming, small town atmosphere on a level larger than ever seen before.

Needless to say, Cork in the Fork was a huge success and returns by demand as an annual event. The monies raised by it each year allow the LFCA to assist with the unique and entertaining public events that are held nearly every month in the historic village.
